1334年前後に現在の池田市にある五月山南麓の丘陵地に、豊島の土着豪族池田教依が築き、代々池田氏が城主を務めた
現在は「城跡の歴史を感じられる憩いの場」として池田城跡公園が整備されている
Ikeda Castle was a Japanese castle in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture.
In around 1334, the indigenous clan director Toshiyuki Ikeda of Teshima built in the hilly land at the foot of Mt.Satsukiyama in Ikeda City Mr. Ikeda served as a castle owner by descents.
Currently Ikeda Castle Memorial Park is being maintained as "a place of relaxation where you can feel the history of the castle ".
