三島池の鴨達(Ducks of Mishima Pond)

JR東海道線近江長岡駅より北へ約２．４kmの所にある三島池、
背後には標高1377mの伊吹山があり、冬は積雪で真っ白な山が見える
その池に冬場は鴨類が多く飛来しバードウォッチング、あるいは子供達が餌を与え
野鳥に触れることが出来る絶好の場所になっている

Mishima Pond, located about 2.4 km north of JR Tokaido Line Omi Nagaoka Station.
In the background isMt. Ibuki with an altitude of 1377 m and in winter snow makes me see a pure white mountain.
Many ducks fly in the pond in winter.

大阪天満宮の梅(Plum blossoms in Osaka Tenmangu Shrine)

今年は寒さの影響かいつもより開花が遅い天満宮の梅、
ようやく咲き始めました
